TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Personnel of South Korean idol group Super Junior, Siwon and Yesung, send condolences in the wake of the tsunami that struck waters of Sunda Strait on late Saturday, December 22.
Through his Twitter account, Siwon offers his condolences to all people affected by the tsunami.
“Praying fervently that aid and recovery efforts will be successful in helping the nation recover and become stronger than before,”@siwonchoi tweeted.
Siwon also adds a hashtag #prayforindonesia with a photo of a burning candle in the darkness.

Similar to Siwon, Yesung uploads a post with a hashtag #PrayforIndonesia in Indonesian.

Both tweets gather positive responses from netizen who mostly ELF, the nickname of Super Junior fans.
As reported earlier, the tsunami on Saturday, December 22 struck people’s residences, hotels, and tourism facilities in the west coastal area of Banten, and swept some of the coastal areas of Lampung Province at 21:10 Western Indonesia Time (WIB).
BMKG recorded the tide in Serang region reached 0.9 meters at 21:27, Banten 0.35 meter at 21:33, Kota Agung, Lampung 0.36 meter at 21:35, and Panjang Port 0.28 meter at 21:53.
