TEMPO.CO, Surabaya - Surabaya Mayor Tri Rismaharini monitored the backfill of Jalan Gubeng street that collapsed on Tuesday. Today, December 20, the officials from the Public Works Agency of Bina Marga and Drainage of Surabaya City began to conduct the backfilling.
Risma instructed her officials to repair the damaged infrastructure around the collapsed part of the road, including the electricity and waterways.
The street in Surabaya, Jalan Gubeng, suddenly collapsed on Tuesday at around 9 p.m. The part of the road that collapsed is near the Siloam Hospital Surabaya basement project, which is currently under construction.

Today at 3 p.m. local time, several trucks loaded with sand and iron poles have arrived at the location. The excavator and backhoe are used to move the sand from the truck to the sinkhole caused by the street collapsed at Jalan Gubeng.
