Jokowi Attends Ulema Support Declaration in Madura

TEMPO.CO, Madura - Presidential hopeful number 01 Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo Wednesday, December 19 attends the grand support declaration event for Jokowi - Ma’ruf pair which takes place in Rato Ebuh Building, Madura, East Java. The event is held by Islamic scholars or ulema from Bangkalan, Madura.
Before heading to the location, Jokowi meets Yenny Wahid in Bangkalan District Pendopo (pavilion). They then ride a horse cart or locally known dokar to the site. Along the route, they are welcomed by a marching band group.
Other than Yenny, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa also present in the declaration event for the incumbent candidate. Jokowi is accompanied by PDIP politician Pramono Agung and PKB politician Abdul Kadir Karding.
Based on the invitation letter, many ulemas from Bangkalan are invited namely KH. Muhammad Faishal Anwar, KH. Zubair Muntashor, KH. Abdul Azhim Kholily, R.KH. Fakhrillah Aschal, KH. Abdul Muhaimin Makki, and KH. Syaifuddin Damanhuri.
Many Islamic scholars from Sampang are also invited including KH. Syafiuddin Wahid, Jabir Ali Ridha, KH. Mamak Muafi, KH. Ja'far Wahid, KH. Fauzan Zainal, and Wasik Masrai. Meanwhile from Pamekasan are KH. Afifuddin Toha, KH. Muhdlar Qarib, KH. Ja'far Fauzi, KH. Hamid Mannan, KH. Taufiq Hasyim, KH. Misbahul Munir LC, and KH. Hadari Ramli.
Further, ulema from Sumenep present in the declaration support for Jokowi - Ma’ruf pair in the presidential election 2019 are KH. Moh. Taufiq Rahman Fm, KH. Panji Taufiq, KH. Syafraji, KH. Imam Hasyim, KH. Abdul Muqshid, and KH. Imam Khodri.
