TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned gas and oil company Pertamina director for retail marketing, Mas’ud Khamid, said a total of 3,687 gas stations (SPBU) would be operated for 24 hours during Christmas and 2019 New Year holiday.
Based on the data Tempo received in Jakarta today, December 18, Pertamina will provide additional facilities, including 16 units of the mobile fuel dispenser, 24 motorcycles providing fuel (BBM) in packages, 31 mobile gas stations dubbed KiosK Pertamax, 54 fuel buffer tanks and 3.7 kiloliters of fuel in packages.
“Pertamina will provide more facilities to anticipate a hike of fuel consumption during the peak holiday, by adding more packages of Pertamax and Dex fuel by around 32 percent than last year’s. In general, Pertamina prepares 125 services mode along the homecoming route,” Mas’ud explained.
According to him, the fuel consumption would raise as in line with the increase of economic growth at 5.2 percent and collective leaves as well as year’s end holiday which coincided with the school holiday.
“We always ready to serve the public needs by improving the fuel distribution. Pertamina appeals to use fuel that based on vehicle specification as to have a smooth trip,” he added.
