North Jakarta Grills Fish for New Year's Eve

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The North Jakarta Administration will be holding a grilling fish competition to enliven the 2019 New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31, 2018. The competition will be held along Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan in Tanjung Priok.
"The participants are around 500 people, the community unit [RW] represents North Jakarta residents. Reflecting on the positive response last year, we held the event again," said North Jakarta deputy mayor Ali Maulana Hakim in Jakarta, Monday, December 17, 2018.
The fish that have been grilled will be distributed to the residents.
"North Jakarta as a coastal area is identical to sea products. The most appropriate dish for the New Year's Eve celebration is grilled fish," Ali said.
The North Jakarta administration prepared various interesting prizes for the winner of the competition.
