First officer Rivonanda tried to break up the fight but ended up being beaten up as well.
The TNI officers ran to a barrack of the presidential guards in Cibubur. In the afternoon, several TNI members came to the location look for the men who beat up their fellow soldiers. Mobs started to gather and eventually, the protest ended up in vandalism and burning of the Ciracas Police Station.
