TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Campaign Agency (BPN) of Prabowo - Sandiaga reported findings on potential double voter data in the final voter list (DPT) to the General Elections Commission (KPU). The team found a total of possible 1.6 million double data of voters on the list.
“Most of the double data is found in East Java, Central Java, and West Java. And double voter data also exist in each province. Whether it is correct or not, we leave it to KPU,” said Prabowo - Sandiaga's BPN deputy chairman, Ahmad Muzani, in the KPU Office in Central Jakarta, Thursday, December 13.
KPU on Thursday, Dec. 13, held a meeting with the Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) and representatives of political parties to discuss the access of residency numbers (NIK). During the session, KPU decided to release the NIK--core number of Indonesian citizens' identity, to political parties as to check and verify voters data in DPT.
Muzani explained the finding was based on the DPT data received by his camp from KPU, in which contained as many as 186 million voters data.
Therefore, Muzani added, starting Friday, December 14, Prabowo camp would visit KPU to check, validate, and verify the potential double voter list with the existing NIK.
KPU chairman Arief Budiman, meanwhile, said he would follow-up the finding on the potential double voter list. The joint team of KPU and Bawaslu along with political parties participating in the presidential election will establish a meeting tomorrow to match the data.
