Meidawati Appointed as Pertamina Hulu Energi President Director

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The state-owned oil company PT Pertamina (Persero) appointed Meidawati as President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE). The inauguration was carried out by the Director of Pertamina Hulu, Dharmawan Syamsu, coincide with the 61st anniversary of PT Pertamina on December 10.

The written statement by Pertamina received in Jakarta, Thursday, December 13, stated that the position of President Director of PHE, previously held by R. Gunung Sardjono Hadi until June 1. Then, Huddie Dewanto was appointed as Daily Acting Head (PTH).

Meidawati is a graduate of Mining Engineering at Sriwijaya University and has held the position of VP of Planning and Risk Management of PT Pertamina EP (2011) and VP of Strategic Planning Risk Management of PT Pertamina EP (2013).

At PHE, Meidawati had held the position of VP Planning Project and Risk Management (2014), before being appointed as President Director of PHE, Meidawati held the position of Senior Vice President of Upstream Strategic Planning and Operation Evaluation of PT Pertamina (Persero) since 2014.

Thus, the current structure of the Board of Directors of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi is the President Director held by Meidawati, Exploration Director Abdul Mutalib Masdar, Development Director Afif Saifudin, Operations, and Production Director Ekariza, Finance Director and Business Services Huddie Dewanto.
