TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Police have nabbed a female correctional employee at the Cipinang Penitentiary with initials “YH” for helping an inmate escape the prison.
Cipinang Penitentiary chief Oga Darmawan strongly suspects that YH assisted the escape of Muhammad Said, a narcotics inmate.
"It is currently being handled by the General Crimes Directorate Unit 1,” said Oga Darmawan on Monday, December 10. “I received reports suggesting that YH had been in a relationship with inmate Said.”

Oga revealed that YH had actually been transferred from kitchen duties to an administrative position after the pair’s relationship was detected since three months prior to the prison break. The transfer was also meant to prevent YH from having access to prison doors.
YH was immediately arrested by prison authorities at her house in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, where she confessed to assisting the escape of Muhammad Said. Muhammad Said is still at large after fleeing the Cipinang Penitentiary on Saturday, December 8.
