TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Lamborghini Jakarta released its SUV model, the Lamborghini Urus, in Jakarta on Thursday, December 6.
The Urus is the Italian supercar manufacturer’s attempt in the SUV market after the 1986 debut of the Lamborghini LM002 at the Brussels Auto Show.
Of the eight Lamborghini Urus units for the Indonesian market, one unit has been booked.
David M. Pangemanan, a CRM & Sales Executive of Lamborghini Jakarta, said the other seven units had not been brought to Indonesia, and that the unit the launch was the one that had been booked.

“This one is owned by one of our customers,” said David, who explained that owning one of the Italian beasts would require a seven-to-eight-month pre-order.
The CEO of Lamborghini Asia Pacific, Matteo Ortenzikita, added the company offered complete after-sales maintenance and services, and that it had prepared a service station at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport for the Rp8.5 billion exotic SUV.
