TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - According to the Head of Marketing for Rumah.com Ike Hamdan, 2019 will see a stable property market in its first semester despite going head-on against the Indonesian Presidential Election.
She maintained that the government's policy in order to maintain a positive sentiment throughout 2018 has shown positive results.
"The market demands will continue to be stable and the demands for middle to upper-class properties will increase," said Ike at the CoHive D.Lab Menteng in Jakarta on Thursday, December 6. 2018.
Furthermore, Ike argued that the government attempt upon increasing its infrastructure budget by 6 percent compared to the previous years will significantly improve economic growth.
"A number of government policies such as Loan To Value (LTV) and the ‘one million housing program’ will further accommodate people’s needs. Especially the housing needs of the middle to lower class," Ike explained.
