Govt Targeting to Release DNI Revision Rule in December

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution said the revision of the Presidential Regulation on the types of businesses unlisted from the Negative Investment List (DNI) is being finalized. The government is targeting the rule signed next month.
Darmin said on Wednesday, November 28, that the draft will be ratified after the government issued the regulation on tax incentives and rules expansion regarding export proceeds (DHE) All three are included in the 16th Economic Policy Package.
The DNI Rule revision was decided following instructions to include five businesses of the MSME and Cooperatives sector into the negative investment list. As a result, the number of business types excluded from the DNI now reaches 49.
Darmin said, the MSME policy was initially not in the government's plan. But there was a change during the 2018 Kadin National Meeting at Alila Solo Hotel, yesterday.
