Jakpro to Manage Reclamation Island as Ordered by Anies

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Regional-owned company PT Jakarta Propertindo or Jakpro president director, Dwi Wahyu Daryoto, said his side was ready to manage the reclamation island as appointed by the city administration.
“We must be ready,” said Dwi in a phone call on late Friday, November 23.
According to Dwi, Jakpro planned to manage the reclamation island using the business to business scheme (B to B) with a principal of good corporate governance. He would further study and prepare the management steps, “to be beneficial for the public.”

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan assigned PT Jakpro to handle three reclamation islands in Jakarta Bay as stipulated in the Gubernatorial Decree No. 120 of 2018, which was signed on November 16.
The provincial administration, Anies said, selected Jakpro as the organizer because of its relevancy in the property development and management. After Jakpro drafting the design plan, the city administration was expected to have a guide of the city design in C, D, and G Island.
Based on the decree, Anies deployed Jakpro to manage the reclaimed land for ten years. The land in question was the contribution land in the three islands, including planning, construction, infrastructure development for public interest or public and social facilities.
