TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice Presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno pointed out three ideas conveyed by Indonesian First President Soekarno that the young generation must follow. Sandiaga made the statement on Thursday, November 22, 2018, during a graduation ceremony of Bung Karno University in Balai Sudirman, Jakarta.
The three ideas were freedom, independence, and innovation. The third, Sandi said, was relatable in today's era. He recalled times when became Jakarta deputy governor that numerous innovations generated the capital city, especially those initiated by millennials.
"The millennial now breathes internet signal, eats internet package and video streaming. These are part of innovations on the economic digital platform," Sandiaga remarked.
The current development of economic digital, Sandiaga continued, was expected to bring prosperity and increase the number of country's entrepreneurs. "We still lack entrepreneurs that its number is still far under Thailand," Sandiaga added.
