TEMPO.CO, South Tangerang - AirAsia will transfer the operations of its international flights from Soekarno-Hatta Airport's Terminal 3 to Terminal 2, starting on December 12.
AirAsia Indonesia's spokesman Baskoro Adiwiyono said that starting in December all of AirAsia's flights—domestic and international—will operate from Terminal 2.
"In regards to the relocation, there are no changes in flight schedule," he said in a written statement on Monday, November 19.
For convenience reasons, however, Baskoro advises passengers to check-in online through the airline's website or mobile app, and have their boarding passes printed before going to the airport. He also urge passengers to arrive at least 3 hours before take-off.
Baskoro said that AirAsia's check-in counter and baggage drop area for both international and domestic flights will be located in the departure area of gate 4 on the 2nd floor of Terminal 2F, counters numbers 73 to 80.
Self-check-in kiosks are also available for passengers with no checked luggage or for those who want to reprint the boarding passes.
"AirAsia staff will help provide direction to passengers during this transfer period," he said.
