TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said the 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA 212) was not barred from holding a planned grand reunion at the National Monument Field on December 2, 2018.
"Yes, we basically approve of the reunion event. But the permit to hold an activity in the crowd is not from us," said Anies at the City Hall in Central Jakarta, Monday, November 19.
Anies said PA 212 must secure the permit from the police, and that he did not know whether PA 212 had obtained the permit.
PA 212 is currently gearing up to hold the 212 Reunion. Its chairman, Slamet Maarif, said the event would be held at Monas.
