TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Berkarya Party Chairman Titiek Soeharto promised to take Indonesia back to her father`s era if presidential and vice presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno gets elected to office in the 2019 presidential election.
Titiek Soeharto is the fourth daughter of the late second Indonesian president Soeharto who held office for 31 years until his resignation in 1998 following massive public pressure.

“This is enough, it is time for Indonesia to go back to Soeharto’s era that succeeded to be agriculturally self-sufficient, Internationally-acclaimed, and is known around the world,” said Titiek on her Twitter account.
Titiek Soeharto maintained on bringing-up Jokowi’s promise in 2014 of making Indonesia self-sufficient in agricultural products. However, according to her, the facts state otherwise.
“There are many reasons why Prabowo must take the presidential seat, considering the many problems facing this country,” said Titiek Soeharto who is optimistic that Prabowo – Sandiaga would win the upcoming election.
