TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The vice presidential candidate number 02, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, promised to facilitate college graduates to create jobs if later he was elected in the 2019 presidential election.
Sandi stated the statement when giving a speech at the graduation ceremony of Pasundan University students at Sasana Budaya Ganesha Building, Jalan Tamansari, Bandung, Wednesday, November 14.
“The graduates (later) will become entrepreneurs who are facilitated by training and mentoring programs,” Sandi said.
Sandi also asked the graduates to continue to be positive, optimistic, and be part of the solution if they later become entrepreneurs. According to Sandi, the consumption market will reach 110 to 120 million in 2030.
“We must be able to develop markets proactively. We must be able to make markets that are competitive and have a collaborative mindset. Don’t be entrepreneurs who think that our country will only become a market,” he said.
Sandiaga then invited the graduates to not be easily discouraged in facing all problems. “I was fired 20 years ago, but I tried to get up,” he said.
