TEMPO.CO, JakartaCoordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Puan Maharani, the daughter of Megawati, said that the government prioritized improving community welfare through various programs such as education and family welfare schemes.

"One of them is the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) program. Previously we provided this facility to 11 million children every year," she said at an Indonesian National Dialogue at the Solo Diamond Convention Center on Saturday.

The KIP program is given to 19 million students every year, including orphans and boarding school students.

Ahead, it will continue to increase the number of beneficiaries so that more Indonesian children can enjoy these facilities.

So if there are still school children who have not received it, please register immediately. Indeed, until now we have not been able to cover them all," he said.

For the family hope program (PKH), the number of beneficiaries in the past was around 2 million, now the beneficiaries increased to 10 million.

"In the future, we will add more to 15.5 million beneficiary families. This is plus conditional assistance where the money is to be provided for mothers who have plans to run a business," she said.

On this occasion, Puan who was also accompanied by Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi explained the various achievements that had been made by President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
