As reported earlier, the joint evacuation team has found the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) of the black box of the downed Lion Air JT610 at the depth of 32 meters. The commander of the Navy SAR Task Force Col. Isswarto said two ships found the FDR after detecting the "ping" sound from the orange device.
Isswarto estimated the whereabouts of the Lion Air flight JT 601's CVR was close to where the FDR was found. Besides, he added, the joint team located the crash site at around 40 to 100 meters from the FDR. “Perhaps, it [the black box location] is not far from where the FDR was found,” he said.
