Lion Air Missing, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Provides Crisis Center

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II has prepared a Crisis Center due to the Lion Air JT 610 plane with Jakarta-Pangkal Pinang flight route that experienced lost contact or went missing.
“We prepare the Crisis Center at the Main Command Post at Terminal 1 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport,” said PT Angkasa Pura II Corporate Secretary Agus Haryadi, Monday, October 29.
According to Agus, the main command post is a center of control and information. “It is the information center for the families of passengers who are looking for information,” Agus said.

The Crisis Center was prepared by the PT Angkasa Pura II, Lion Air, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Authority, Airnav, and the police.
The Lion Air plane took off from Soekarno-Hatta Airport at 6:20 a.m., Monday, October 29 and experienced lost contact at 6:33 a.m.
According to Airnav Indonesia spokesman Yohanes Sirait, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Air Traffic Control officer could not contact the Lion Air pilot and the co-pilot. “Until now, we are still doing it [searching],” said Yohanes.
