TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Transportation Safety Commission (KNKT) head Soerjanto Tjahjono said all data of the Lion Air Aircraft JT-610 with the route of Jakarta-Pangkal Pinang had been collected, including the airplane audio recordings with the air traffic controller.
“Hopefully, the black box can be found soon because it is a new aircraft,” said Soejanto, Monday, Oct. 29.

KNKT planned to immediately open the missing black box of the Lion Air aircraft that plunged into waters in Tanjung Karawang, West Java in a bid to investigate the cause of the incident.
A Lion Air aircraft with a tail number JT-610 earlier reportedly went missing after it was airborne this morning, Oct 29. The AS Jaya II boat crew with a route of South Kalimantan-Marunda was the first to see the aircraft crashed into Tanjung Karawang waters.
A total of 181 passengers boarded the Lion Air aircraft that took off at 06:20 a.m. from Soekarno-Hatta airport and was supposed to have landed in Pangkal Pinang at 07:20 a.m.
