TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko `Jokowi` Widodo opened the 2018 Ideafest on Friday, Oct. 26 in Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan. During the event, Jokowi wore a brown brick parka jacket, which he had just bought while monitoring the exhibition sites.
“This is spontaneous. I like it and purchase it at a cheap price,” said Jokowi after the opening.
He explained he just paid Rp499,000 for the parka produced by AME Raincoat. “This [jacket] can be used either when raining or not,” he said, adding that he purchased it as it was a local product.

During his speech, Jokowi suggested the young generation who entered the business sector to be smart in analyzing the market demands. He expected Indonesian youth people could sell good quality products with good packaging.
In the 2018 Ideafest, Jokowi expressed his appreciation while monitoring the booths in the exhibition room as he saw participants, who were mostly youth or millennial generation carried out many new business ideas.
