The Night Comes For Us Lauded by Deadpool Creator Robert Liefeld

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The success of the Indonesian Netflix movie “The Night Comes for Us” captured the attention of Deadpool creator Robert Liefeld on Twitter who praised the movie for its action fight choreography.
The Night Comes For Us was released on Netflix in October 19 that features Indonesian action stars Joe Taslim and Iko Uwais.
Liefeld through his Twitter account @robertliefeld went as far to tweet; “Give Timo Tjahjanto ALL the money for Deadpool 3!!!! Holee mother of God, I have seen the future of action films and it is TIMO TJAHJANTO!!”
Through a series of tweetsm the Deadpool creator voiced his opinion on the action films that originate from Indonesia’s movie industry.
“The Indonesian cinema is providing so much influence on action films worldwide. Give these filmmakers big comic book IP’s to play with. Heck, even a stand-alone Cable film under the helm of @Timobros would break the mold,” Robert tweeted on October 20th.
Other than Joe Taslim and Iko Uwais, The Night Comes for Us can be considered as a feature film that stars a plethora of Indonesian A-listers such as Julie Estelle, Hannah Al Rasyid, Dian Sastrowardoyo, up to Zack Lee.
