Police Probe Perbakin Members About Stray Bullets That Hit DPR

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Director of the General Criminal Investigation Commissioner Nico Afinta revealed the results of the crime scene investigation on the allegation of the stray bullets in the room of the two House of Representatives (DPR) members, Wenny Warouw and Bambang Heri Purnomo.
Nico said that the crime scene investigation was started from Bambang Heri’s room on the 13th floor of the Nusantara I DPR building, then Wenny’s room on the 16th floor of the same building.
Nico said the crime scene investigation was carried out by the Forensic Laboratory team (Labfor), the identification team, the Indonesian Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (INAFIS) team, and the Central Jakarta Police. Nico said that the team found a hole in the glass in the room.

"Data collection is being carried out, on the distance to the point of entry of the bullet hole and the bounce," Nico said in the DPR complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, October 15.
Nico said that the bullet was aligned in the direction coming from the Senayan Shooting Field. He also claimed that at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., a number of members of the Indonesian Shooting Association (Perbakin) were practicing in the area.
"We have coordinated with Perbakin and we are carrying it for questioning," he said.
Nico said his team had arrested the suspected gunmen with the initial I to be examined. The police also found the bullet.
"Tomorrow we will send it to Labfor, the projectile found in the room and the one owned by the suspect with the initials I may be found tomorrow,” said Nico.
