TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the National Civil Service (BKN) agency Mohammad Ridwan explained that there are 3,627,981 applicants that will go through the verification stage of the 2018 civil servant enrollment test (CPNS) out of 4,436,694 registered accounts.
“It is less expected than the number we previously predicted around 6 to 8 million applicants,” said Ridwan at his office on Tuesday, October 16.

He explained that there were around 800,000 accounts that failed to be submitted while 1,233,409 applicants are still waiting to be verified by state instances.
Ridwan further explained that there were 2,678 accounts from applicants of people with disabilities. He also mentioned Papua’s CPNS system that differs from the rest of Indonesian regions with 3,340 Papuans applying for the test. The CPNS 2018 sees 25,967 accounts from cum laude applicants.
