Spend Weekend in Bandung with This 4 Agendas

TEMPO.CO, Bandung - Various events in Bandung are getting more exciting on the weekends. There is a free coffee party in Gedung Sate and in the Babakan Siliwangi forest. And, to commemorate the 208th anniversary of Bandung, 2,500 places will offer discounts from 20 to 70 percent.

Here are the interesting public agendas to visit if you spend your weekend in Bandung.

1. Ngopi Saraosna, Gedung Sate

The West Java administration organizes a coffee event entitled Ngopi Saraosna Vol. 6 for two days, October 12-13, at the yard of Gedung Sate, Bandung, where there are Instagrammable spots for visitors.

On the first day, Gedung Sate will be visited by the antique motorbike riders. They will convoy from Gedung Pakuan. There is also a charity auction event for donation to the victims of Palu-Donggala earthquake which will be hosted by David, the vocalist of band Naif.

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil will also brew coffee for the visitors. 

On the second day, there will be a coffee auction by farmers in Garut, Mount Halu, Ciwidey, Pangalengan, Sumedang, Lembang, and others.

2. Bandung Coffee Directory Book, Babakan Siliwangi Forest Park

The Bandung Coffee Directory book will be launched at the Babakan Siliwangi Forest Park, where coffees from various cafes in Bandung will be served. The book launching event will be held on Saturday, October 13, and begin at 8 a.m.

The book contains 20 lists of coffee shops in Bandung and features basic knowledge about coffee.

The event will be enlivened with a coffee festival with the theme “coffee experience” where visitors can taste the coffees made by the 20 cafes enlisted in the book. Other fun coffee activities you can experience include the Fun Brewing, Coffee Tasting, music and discussion about the coffee industry in Bandung with Yuke Hapsari (founder of Cultivar) and Guido Mariotti (founder of Noah’s Barn).

3. Bandung Great Sale

Bandung Great Sale starts from October 14 to November 11. The stores, malls, hotels, will give special discounts. A total of 2,500 tenants will give discounts of 20-70 percent.

4. Ikebana Art Exhibition

A exhibition of Japanese art of flower arrangement called Ikebana is ongoing at Lawangwangi Creative Space, Jalan Dago Giri, No. 99, Bandung

The foreign and domestic artists cultivate their personal ideas with various media that they do in the contemporary art. The [not]ARTofficial[?]: Out of Track exhibition is held from October 5 to November 5.
