BTS `Love Yourself: Answer` Stays in Billboard 200 for Six Weeks

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Korean idol group Bangtan Sonyeondan or BTS stays in the 24th place with its album Love Yourself: Answer for six weeks.

Last week, the album perched on the 25th since its release on August 24, 2018. Love Yourself: Answer is the second BTS album that enters Billboard after Love Yourself: Tear.

BTS also remains at the top in Billboard Social 50 for 65 weeks and perches at four in Billboard Artist 100. Reported by Yonhap News, the K-pop boyband is scheduled to have a world tour to European countries including London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Paris this week.

The South Korean President even congratulates BTS for getting the top at Billboard 200 for the second time this year with the Love Yourself: Answer album after Love Yourself: Tear.

On music and video sharing platform YouTube, BTS’ song Idol has been watched for 45 million times in a day, breaking the record of Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do with 43.2 million viewers a day.

The group members RM (23), Jin (25), Jimin (22), Suga (25), Jungkook (20), J-Hope (24), and V (22) successfully spread the virus of “Idol Challenge” dance to BTS Army (fans of BTS) around the globe, including Indonesian artist Cinta Laura Kiehl.
