Oil Price Rises, Pertamax Fuel Set at Rp10,400 per liter

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned gas and oil company Pertamina increased the fuel oil price in the gas stations, especially Pertamax Series, Dex Series, and non-subsidized or non-public service obligation (PSO) Biosolar starting today, October 10, and valid throughout Indonesia at 11 a.m.
Pertamina External Communication Manager, Arya Dwi Paramita, said the fuel price adjustment for Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, Pertamina Dex, and Biosolar Non-PSO resulted from the price hike of the global oil price at US$80 per barrel.
“The price adjustment is based on Ministerial Decree No. 34/2018 on the fifth amendment to ESDM Ministerial Decree No. 39/2014 which stipulating the calculation of fuel retail price,” said Arya.
Based on the regulation, Arya explained, Pertamina adjusted the fuel price, for example in Jakarta, the price of Pertamax is Rp10,400 per liter, Pertamax Turbo Rp12,250/ liter, Pertamina Dex Rp11,850/liter, Dexlite Rp10,500/liter, and Biosolar Non-PSO Rp9,800/liter in Jakarta.
The price was said more competitive than those in other gas stations. The price adjustment could be viewed on Pertamina website https://www.pertamina.com/id/news-room/announcement/
