Transjakarta Adds Disabled Friendly Buses for Asian Para Games

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Transjakarta is appointed as the official prestige partner for the 2018 Asian Para Games after ratifying a partnership with INAPGOC on Tuesday that was sealed by Transjakarta President Director Budi Kaliwono.

“During the Asian Games 2018, we successfully transported more than 700,000 people where eight to five percent were our disabled friends. This pushed us to even further provide for people with disabilities,” said Budi.

Transjakarta’s commitment was warmly welcomed by Direktur Revenue and Sponsorship INAPGOC Hasina Hakim.that mentioned the transportation’s services that is dependable and pro-disabilities, which is the main necessity for the success of the Asian Para Games 2018.

Transjakarta has prepared 200 low entry units and 100 high entry disabled-friendly buses and free tickets for its users. The Jakarta transportation company is also partnering with the Transportation Ministry and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
