TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police arrested Ilham Rai Ramanda alias IR (21) in Soekarno-Hatta airport, September 12, for human trafficking allegation. He brought four women to be sent to Bali as therapists in a massage parlor owned by suspect IPB (43).
IR deceived victims with a salary of Rp5 to 10 million on social media. “The suspect uses social media to dupe the victims, pledging a huge salary,” said Police Sectoral Chief of Soekarno Hatta airport Sr. Comr. Viktor Togi Tambunan, on Friday, September 21.
According to Viktor, the four victims were AF (17), AL (16), SM (16), and SN (21). They were exploited sexually since August 2018. “The four victims are placed in Gateway Apartment, Bandung. They are advertised to customers via social media,” he added.

Based on Tempo observation on Saturday, September 22, several social media accounts owned by Ilham still displayed such an advertisement offering works as massage therapists with certain requirements, such as the age must be between 18-25.
