Minang Themed Festival Colourful Indonesia to be Held in Paris

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Embassy in Paris in cooperation with the Indonesian Diaspora Network France is set to hold the Festival Colorful Indonesia (FCI) 2018 in September 22-23 which will adopt the main theme of Ranah Minang, which will exhibit anything related to the Minang culture.
The festival will showcase Minang culinary traits, traditional interior designs, up to a performance that will be presented by Elly Kasim and an art performance from the Padang Panjang Indonesia Art Institute group.
According to a press release Tempo received today, the festival that will be held at the Pavillon Dauphine, Paris, is meant to be a promotional event to improve Indonesia’s trade, tourism, and investments.
There is also the Indonesia France Business Forum that will hand the spotlight to a representative from the Indonesia Investment Promotion Center (IIPC) London. This Indonesia-France business forum will also see a one-on-one business meeting with French and Indonesian entrepreneurs.
This event will also be used to further spread Indonesia`s palm oil campaign which is supported by the palm oil field management board (BPDP KS).
