Setya was found guilty in the e-KTP graft case and sentenced for 1 year of imprisonment and a fine of Rp500 million with a subsidiary of six months in prison. He was also demanded to pay the replacement money worth US$7.3 million.

Febri said Setya Novanto has paid Rp5 billion during the legal proceedings and US$100,000 after being executed to Sukamiskin Prison, Bandung.
