KPK Probes PLN Corporate Planning Director over Riau-1 PLTU Case

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) scheduled the examination on Director of Corporate Planning of state-owned electricity company PLN, Syofvi Felienty Roekman, over the bribe case of the Riau-1 coal-fired steam power plant (PLTU).
“Today we will examine Syofvi Felienty Roekman, PLN Corporate Planning Director, in the bribery case of Riau-1 PLTU,” said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah in a written statement, Monday, September 10.
Febri said Sofvi would be questioned as the witness for suspect Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo, one of the shareholders at Blackgold Natural Resources Limited, one of the signatories of a consortium that will be working on the PLTU Riau project.

KPK would also cross-examine Johanes today. He arrived in KPK building at 09:50 a.m.
Other than Sofvi, Febri went on to say, KPK also scheduled to probe another witness for Johannes namely Mah Riana, director of PT Global Energi Manajemen.
Other witnesses director of PT Isargas Iswan Ibrahim and an employee of PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup Nine Afwani would be quizzed for suspect Idrus Marham.
In the PLTU Riau-I case, KPK has named three suspects; Idrus Marham, the former Deputy Chairman of the House’s Energy Commission Eni Maulani Saragih and the former shareholder of Blackgold Natural Resources Limited Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo.
