TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has pegged a target for city-owned developer (PD) Pembangunan Sarana Jaya to complete the Tanah Abang skybridge in October 2018. The skybridge, worth Rp35.8 billion, will connect the Tanah Abang railway station and the Tanaha Abang market.
The developer has subsequently changed their construction method considering the project was targeted for completion on October 15, 2018, according to the president director of PD Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory C. Pinontoan.

“We will start the construction from both sides simultaneously. So, it will be quicker to finish,” said Yoory at the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) building as quoted from Koran Tempo, Friday, September 7.
Yoory explained the changed method would affect street vendors (PKL) on Jl. Jatibaru Raya since the site would be closed for public security and safety purposes. He said his team would begin disseminating information on the matter next week, and he hoped the street vendors would abide by the regulation.
