Siti Badriah Rocks the Elegant Look in Asian Games Closing Event

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Several known Asian singers and performers participated in the Asian Games 2018 closing ceremony that was held at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) main stadium in Jakarta on Sunday, September 2.

Comprising of Isyana Saraswati, Bunga Citra Lestari, Dira Sugandi, iKon, Super Junior up to Siti Badriah.

Siti Badriah, who sang Jaran Goyang and her hit Lagi Syantik in the ceremony, looked different from her usual stage appearance. She wore a blazer paired with a large brown belt over a khaki pair of trousers on elegant black high heels.

“I never imagined I would be able to perform in a majestic event such as the Asian Games 2018. I was moved and proud, and I almost dropped some tears. Thank you Indonesia,” said Siti Badriah in an Instagram video of hers.

This was a refreshingly formal look for the singer that usually wears tight clothes on stage that compliments her physical appearance. Her Asian Games closing ceremony outfit successfully transformed her into a mature and elegant performer, a stark contrast to her usual young and feminine stage look.
