Sri Mulyani Reflects on Indonesia Hosting the 2018 Asian Games

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani commented on the 2018 Asian Games opening and closing ceremony as the minister shared a live feed of the ceremony on Sunday, September 2.
The highest appreciation came from the minister that is most searched according to Google. “The Asian Games sporting festivity was closed tonight. After a world-stunning opening ceremony with unique Indonesian dances and attractions, the Asian Games was closed with a sense of brotherhood with superior acts from a number of Asian countries,” Sri Mulyani wrote on her Facebook timeline.
Furthermore, during the closing ceremony she wrote; “This is best representation of Indonesia. In the midst of a heavy rainfall, visitors were enthusiastic and stuck around for the closing ceremony,” she added.
She also expressed her gladness for Indonesia’s achievement in collecting 31 gold medals and a total of 98 medals and ranked fourth overall.
Sri Mulyani deemed the success of the 2018 Asian games is truly meaningful for Indonesia as a host nation, and all of the elements involved such as committee members, athletes, officials, organizations, sponsors, and every element involved in the quadrennial sporting festivity.
