Manado Fiesta Cultural Event Expected to be Tourism Destination

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The cultural festival 2019 Manado Fiesta would present various art and cultural shows in Manado, North Sulawesi. The city Deputy Mayor GS Vicky Lumentut said the festival themed Manado-Diversity in Harmony commenced on August 30 until September 9.
Among the events are Fisco (fish and Coral) Carnival on August 31, Flying-Paragliding Competition and Kite Festival on September 1-3, Manado Fashion Festival on September 1-4, Tourism Fair including Art and Photography Expo on September 5-8.
Manado Culinary Fest would also take place on September 7-8, Religious Festival on September 3-9, and Fun Activities and Music Events on August 28-September 9.
State-owned lender BNI supported the 2018 Manado Fiesta. “BNI fully supports Manado Fiesta as to promote North Sulawesi and Manado as a tourism destination,” said BNI Mandao CEO Haris Agus Handoko in Manado, Friday, August 30.
He pinned hope the festival could be held annually in Manado as the main attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.
2018 Manado Fiesta will be closed by Thanksgiving event in all Manado areas on September 9.
