Asian Games: Rowing Brings Gold to Indonesia`s Medal Tally

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia bagged another Asian Games gold medal on Friday, August 24. The gold came from rowing in the men`s lightweight eight final.
The Indonesian rowing team finished first place, clocking in at 6 minutes and 08.88 seconds.

In the race that took place at the Jakabaring Sports City Palembang, South Sumatra, they beat the rowers from Uzbekistan and Hong Kong, who won silver and bronze, respectively.
Indonesian rowers also brought silver and bronze to the medals tally. The silver medal came from the men's Quadruple Sculls while the bronze came from the women's Quadruple Sculls.
