TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Popular video app Tik Tok is set to enliven the 2018 Asian Games by introducing several activities and video challenges for its users to partake in using two main hashtags; #AsianGames2018 and #NyalakanSemangat (ignite your spirit).
“We are proud for tha fact that Tik Tok is given the chance to be a co-marketing partner for the 2018 Asian Games. As Asia’s largest sporting event, Asian Tik Tok users can channel their creativity through the spirit of the Asian Games,” said Tik Tok Indonesia’s Head of Marketing Dina Bhirawa in a written statement on Tuesday, August 14.
The best video creators from more than 10 nations in Asia will further support the Asian Games. According to Dina, there are over 50,000 video creators that have uploaded videos with the two hashtags since August 4.
Tik Tok encourages its users to record important moments in a sporting event watched together with family members,” said Dina.
Previously on August 12, Tik Tok encouraged its users to record the 50 dancers in Jakarta’s car free day considered to be a flash mob. Asian winners will be able to win a ticket to watch their favorite sporting event in the 2018 Asian Games.
