TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A camera manufacturer GoPro, will prepare three new affordable cameras for this holiday season, following their income prediction above the estimation by Wall Street.
“Launching three entry-level cameras this holiday season will benefit the consumers, as well as GoPro’s margin,” CEO Nicholas Woodman said.
This camera is estimated to cost US$200 and will not be a competitor for their expensive cameras.
The new camera, which has yet to be named, will be sold at a price range of US$199 to US$299, believed to be able to boost the third-quarter revenue from US$260 million to US$280 million.
The impact of the import tariff on China did not affect GoPro. “At present, GoPro is not affected by the tariff of imported goods produced in China,” said Woodman.
