TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Huawei Indonesia Consumer Business Group Deputy Country Director Lo Khing Seng, said that the company views highly of Indonesia's smartphone market and will bring-in optimism to the country.
"We are eyeing on taking the runner-up position within the next two years. Indonesia is an important market for Huawei and we will invest more to gain considerable growth and take top position," said Khing Seng in a business interview at Huawei's meeting room at BRI II Tower on Friday August 3, 2018.
Huawei said that it will continue to strengthen its sales through online and offline distribution, which Khing Seng said has enabled the company to reach further into its Indonesian customers demanding a high quality smartphone.
"We will bring our highly referred premium and entry level products to Indonesia and we will do our utmost to become Indonesia's favorite technological brand," said Khing Seng.
Khing Seng argued that strengthening Huawei's sales and services will help realize what the company is aiming for. "Especially for premium smartphones, we often used to delay our decision to introduce our latest smartphone, but now that situation will drastically change," said Khing Seng.
