TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) along with the Indonesian Embassy would facilitate 14 local fashion lines in the Rising Fashion 2018 exhibition in Paragon Mall, Singapore, on August 1-30. The event is a collaboration between Indonesia and Singapore.
Bekraf Marketing Deputy Joshua Puji Mulia Simandjuntak confirmed the news. “Singapore is one of the central modes in Asia and also one of the Indonesian export destinations of fashion products. We hope the 2018 Rising Fashion will be one of the media to promote Indonesia in the global,” he said, as quoted by tabloidbintang.com in Jakarta.
The Rising Fashion 2018 started with a launching session and a press conference on Wednesday, August 1. Indonesian Ambassador in Singapore H.E. Bapak Ngurah Swajaya would officially open the event on August 8. Bekraf head Triawan Munaf would also attend the event.
A total of fourteen brands would be introduced in Singapore in two sessions. “Seven brands will be displayed in each session. The first session is on August 1-15 for Purana, Saul, Nataoka, Hunting Field, Maison Met, Pattent Goods, and Oaksva Jewellery, while the second session will present Woodka, Bermock, Daniyo Hiyoji, Alexalexa, D.Tale,1effry Tan, and Diniira on August 16-30, 2018,” Joshua explained.
