Politician Mardani Ali Sera House Attacked with Molotov Cocktail

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The house of Justice & Prosperity Party (PKS) politician Mardani Ali Sera in Bekasi city was attacked with Molotov cocktail early Thursday, July 19. The attack reportedly occurred around 03:00 pm without any clear motive.
Bekasi Police Chief Commissioner Indarto said Mardani Ali Sera’s house is located at Jalan KH Ahmad Madani No 199D, Pondok Gede, Kota Bekasi.
“Yes (there was a Molotov cocktail attack), but no casualties and losses,” said Indarto when contacted, Thursday, July 19.
Indarto explained, Mardani Ali Sera’s family just found out the throwing of the molotov cocktail this morning. They found broken bottles in the yard. Allegedly the fire from the Molotov cocktail extinguished shortly after being thrown.
“The family knows it early in the morning, there are broken bottles in the yard,” said Indarto.
Mardani Ali Sera is also the Chairman of PKS Central Board. His name was mentioned in the vice presidential candidates for Prabowo Subianto related to the 2019 Presidential Election.
