TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A fake Police officer Yosep Anugerah (20) was arrested in Jl. Casablanca, Sunday, July 15. Jakarta Traffic Police Chief Yusuf confirmed the arrest.

“He is arrested at 14:15, we seized with him illegal levies Rp420,000,” said Yusuf in a short message to Tempo, Sunday afternoon.

During the arrest, Yosep drove his silver-colored Ayla car.

The suspect, the police went on to say, was taken to Jakarta Police station for further investigation.

The police official Twitter account @TMCPoldaMetro posted the arrest of the fake officer. The video suggested Yosep wore black sunglasses and a police vest.

In a one-minute 24-second video, two police officers asked Yosep to show his police’s ID member which he failed to.
