SBMPTN; IPB Prospective Students Register for 10 Study Programs

TEMPO.CO, Bogor - The participants of SBMPTN 2018 (Joint Entrance Test for State Universities) selection applying to the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) are able to see the results of the announcement on the official site of admisi.ipb.ac.id. As many as 1,305 new students are accepted through the system.

Head of Legal Bureau, Promotion and Public Relations of IPB Yatri Indah Kusumastuti said that the most popular study programs in SBMPTN 2018 are the nutrition science, agribusiness, computer science, management, civil and environmental engineering, food technology, agronomy and horticulture, communications and community development, agricultural industry technology, and actuary.

“Based on the data, the IPB prospective students through SBMPTN selection mostly come from West Java, Jakarta, Central Java and Banten provinces,” said Indah.

In addition to the SNMPTN and SBMPTN selections, IPB also opens student entrance selection through several programs such as IPB Talent Test Entrance (UTM), Regional Envoy Scholarship (BUD), International and National Achievement (PIN), Hafizh, and Head of OSIS.

“For the UTM, the selection test will be conducted on July 14, in Bogor, at IPB Baranangsiang Campus, IPB Cilibende Campus, Business School, and Senior High Schools around Jalan Padjadjaran, Bogor,” said Deputy Rector for IPB Education and Student Affairs Drajat Martianto.

As for the re-registration of prospective students, including through 2018 SBMPTN, will be held on August 7-8.
