Jasa Marga Applies Contraflow System at Cikampek Toll

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned toll road operator Jasa Marga implemented contraflow traffic system at Cikampek Toll road to reduce the congestion particularly at KM 37+800 and KM 39 which is the rest area.

“The implementation of contraflow system commences at 11:11 local times,” said Jasa Marga Traffic Information Center officer Dwi in Cikarang today, June 12.

The contraflow system would take effect starting KM 35+600 until KM 47 toward Cikampek as the road congested heading to KM 39.

Jasa Marga deployed its personnel and displayed traffic signs to back the system as it was the police’s authority.

Jasa Marga appealed to the road users to be careful in driving, obey the signs, and follow the officers’ direction.

The public can obtain updated information to anticipate the road through Jasa Marga 24-hour Call Center service at 14080 and its Twitter official account @PTJASAMARGA or @official_JSMR as well as mobile application JMCARe equipped with push notifications feature.
