TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport saw a significant aircraft movement on Sunday, June 10. A week ahead of the Eid, the total number of passengers arriving and departing from the airport soared 36.33 percent from the same period last year.
Aircraft movement numbered at 448 units, up 26.2 percent from last year's 355 units.
"It looked like yesterday was the peak," the airport's spokesperson, Arie Ahsanurrohim, said on Monday, June 11.

Both domestic and international routes saw increases. Domestic routes' arrivals rose 54.82 percent to 18,317 passengers, while departure rose 6.74 percent to 13,589 passengers.

International routes saw 54.97 percent increase in departures and 30.72 percent increase in arrivals.
