TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that Setya Novanto's nephew Irvanto Hendra Pambudi, who is also a suspect in the e-KTP graft, has proposed to be a justice collaborator in the case.

"Suspect Irvanto Hendra Pambudi volunteered as a justice collaborator after the investigation proceeded, of course we have to consider this request first," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said in Jakarta, Monday, May 21.

According to Febri, the KPK must determine whether Irvanto has all the requirements to be a justice collaborator. He must acknowledge his crimes, revealing other actors involved, and provide significant information.

Irvanto has been named suspect in the e-KTP scandal out of suspicion of involvement in the procurement process right from the start and having attended several meetings at the Fatmawati district.  He is also suspected of knowing that there was a five-percent fee requested to expedite the e-KTP procurement.

The director of PT Murakabi Sejahtera has been detained since February 28.

The Irvanto's request to be a justice collaborator was revealed during the trial of PT Quadra Solution former president director Anang Sugiana Sudihardjo, who is also a suspect in the same case.

During that hearing, Irvanto testified for the suspect. On the witness' chair, he named people who received money from the e-KTP project.
