TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The corruption convict of ID card or e-KTP project case Setya Novanto (SN) would stand as a witness in the trial of Fredrich Yunadi (FY) who was charged with obstructing the investigation on the graft case.
“SN will be a witness for FY,” said Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) prosecutor Takdir Subhan when contacted today.
Takdir explained Setya was scheduled to testify along with other witnesses including Medika Permata Hijau Hospital Director Hafil Budianto, former acting manager of Medical treatment Alia Shahab, and the emergency unit head Michael Chia Cahaya.
In the previous trial, the witness expert of legal law from University of Indonesia Suparji Ahmad testified that Fredrich Yunadi could not be punished because the violation done by Fredrich was not examined by the profession of board council in the meeting of an ethics code.
“There is a standard of ethics that should be seen as a guidance. The position is higher than the law,” said Suparji in Jakarta Corruption Court, on Thursday, May 17.
He further explained the board council has an authority to decide it as an ethical violation or not done by Fredrich Yunadi in the corruption case of the e-KTP project which then suggests the finding to KPK or other law institutions.
